Eileen Sorrentino, a practicing family lawyer since 1988, has also been an early chilhood educator, parent educator and litigator. She has been president of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council and is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation. She specializes in collaborative law and mediation as they pertain to family law.
Eileen graduated from St. John's University in New York, and received her Master's in Education from Syracuse University. She obtained her law degree from Western New England College School of Law, cum laude, where she was managing editor of the Law Review. She is now an adjunct professor at the School of Law.
She is skilled and experienced in all aspects of Family Law and Family Law Litigation. Eileen has been a presenter and trainer at seminars and workshops for collaborative attorneys, parents and other professionals and works with the Probate and Family Court to develop court-based alternatives to litigation. She has written training materials and articles on collaborative law and educates others about the opportunities and benefits of collaborative practice. She has been listed in Boston Magazine's Massachusetts Super Lawyers as one of the top 5 per cent of lawyers in Massachusetts.
